How to enter a Ringtone into your Panasonic Cell Phone...

We have tried to make entry of the ring tones into your Panasonic mobile phone as simple as possible.

These instructions were written using a Panasonic GD75 for entry,  however most Panasonic phones have the same menu system and ringtone composer,  so whatever your model the Converter should work for you.

Update: If you have the newer Panasonic GD67 or GD87 handsets (with the polyphonic ringtones) the composer is slightly different in your phone.  Click here for instructions for the GD67 and GD87,  or other Panasonic phones with polyphonic ringtones,  or read on for the standard handsets.

To enter the tones into your Panasonic phone....

1.  First,  locate your ring tone composer

To add this ringtone to your phone, press the central joystick button, and select 'Personalise', scroll down and select 'Tones', then scroll down and select 'Melody Composer'.

Choose a position for your ringtone (different Panasonic models have different numbers of user definable ringtones), then click 'Edit'

Now, press and hold the top right menu button to clear the current composition, and make room for your new tone. Remember to hold down the menu button until all the notes have been deleted!

2.  Enter the key press sequence

Once you have located the composer on your phone,  you need to enter the key press sequence given to you by the ring tone converter software.  Look for the text similar to that in the image below, highlighted in yellow.

Now (in the phones melody composer),  simply type these numbers into your keypad,  for example if you see 1111 press the 1 key four times.  Ignore what is appearing on the phones display - if you press the keys in the sequence shown the ringtone will be added to your phone!

3. Save the tone

When you have finished press the top left menu button to listen to the new ringtone.

If you like what you hear, press the middle 'joystick' button again to save the ringtone to your phone.  If the tone doesn't sound right,  you have probably missed a key so you may wish to try entering the key sequence again.

That's it - it could not be simpler,  or cheaper to add a new ring tone to your Panasonic phone (as often as you like!)
