This page contains a long list of phones and may take a while to load. |
The
following table lists the phones and handsets currently supported by the Ringtone Converter. The entry methods available shows the options you have available for your
handset when using the Ringtone Converter*. If your phone is not listed, try
the free demo version as many phones share the same ring tone system, and you will probably be able to add
ring tones using instructions for a similar model, especially when dealing with polyphonic handsets. Please
do let us know if you would like us to add support for a new handset as we prioritise addition of customer requested phones where possible.

File Export Formats
The Ringtone Converter supports ringtone file export to:
Nokring, eMelody V1.0
(.emy), iMelody V1.2 (.imy), RTTTL, My Melody, Kyocera (.kws),
Samsung PCLink (.amf), Motorola binary (*.vrt), Nokia binary, wave (.wav),
Smaf (.mmf) and Midi (.mid) file formats. The Kyocera,
Smaf and wave file formats are currently only supported in the Windows version of the Ringtone Converter. Network Support As the ringtone software uses your phone for ringtone entry, and not sms services provided by your network provider, it works with all mobile phone operators and network types.
For a current list click here. If your phone is similar to a model listed above, but is not shown, the codes may still work for you. The trial version will allow you to test the codes on your phone, so its worth trying a download if you have time. 40
Polyphony Handsets This
list does not include all the handsets sold in Japan or
Korea. Phones referred to as '40 polyphony' are supported
using the Smaf 40 conversion and Wap server. Entry
Methods Available * The entry methods available column shows the current list of ways you can get a ringtone onto your phone, for example if you see 'Key in', the
Ringtone Converter will create a key press sequence you can type into your phone to create a ringtone. If you see 'WAP' you can use the wap server built into the
Ringtone Converter, together with your phone to add ringtones. The list is correct to the best of our knowledge, but
as with all electronics things can change, so if you are relying on one particular method, for example 'iMelody via SMS through a web gateway', we recommend you test this
using the free trial version of the software.
Support for Nokia Handsets
Most Nokia phones are supported, both with and without a composer. All models with
an original composer are supported including the 3210, 3310, 3330, 3410, 3390, 8250. Supported models without a composer include the 6210, 6310, 7110 and 7210.
Models with the newer Nokia musical score composer (eg 3650
or Nokia N-Gage) are supported in version 4.2.1 and later. Phones in the 8xxx and 5xxx series without a composer may work subject to your network.
For Polyphonic ringtones and Nokia handsets we recommend the Polyphonic Wizard. |
