| How to enter a
Ringtone into your Sagem Cell Phone...
We have tried to make entry of
the ring tones into your Sagem mobile phone as simple as
possible. These instructions have been based on
ringtone entry for the MW 3020, however most Sagem models
are the same so they should give you a good idea if you are using
a different Sagem handset.
To enter the tones into your
handset.
1. First, locate
your ring tone composer
Scroll down through the menu to
'Ringing and Beeps' and press 'Ok'. Scroll to 'Personalised
Ringtone' and press 'Ok' again. Select 'Create a Tune'.
Your phone will now display a musical score ready to take the
ringtone....
2. Enter the key press sequence
Once you have located the
composer on your phone, you need to enter the key press
sequence given to you by the ring tone converter software.
Look for the text similar to that in the image below, highlighted
in yellow.

Now (in the phones melody
composer), simply type these numbers into your keypad.
Where you see ^ or v enclosed in
brackets together with a number, press the middle scroll button up
or down the number of times specified, for example (v4) means
press the middle scroll button down four times. Where you see (ok)
press the 'Ok' button.
For all other numbers and '#' shown outside brackets simply press
the appropriate key.
3. Save the tone
When you have finished press the
top left key to enter the 'Options' menu and set the tempo, then
quit from this menu and press the top middle button to play your
new ringtone.
If the tone doesn't sound
right, you have probably missed a key so you may wish to try
entering the key sequence again.
That's it - it could not be
simpler, or cheaper to add a new ring tone to your Sagem
phone (as often as you like!)
