Samsung N400 ringtonesHow to enter a Ringtone into your Samsung Mobile...

We have tried to make entry of the ringtones into your Samsung mobile phone as simple as possible.  These instructions have been written for the Samsung N400 phone.  If you are using a different model click here to see if the Ringtone Converter supports it.  Instructions for the A300 can be found by clicking here.

Most modern Samsung phones (eg. T100,  S100, R225 and V100) use the same key sequences as the N400,  so if your handset is not listed try the N400 key press sequences first.

To enter the tones on the N400.

1.  Locate your ring tone composer

To enter this code into your Samsung N400 phone press the 'Menu' button, then the '4' button, then the '2' button to access the Melody Composer.

Choose a position to store the new tone and press select, the phone will then display a musical score for you. Clear this using the 'c' key if it contains any notes.

2.  Enter the key press sequence

Once you have located the composer on your phone,  you need to enter the key press sequence given to you by the ring tone converter software.  Look for the text similar to that in the image below, highlighted in yellow.

Samsung ringtone converter - add nokia ringtones to your samsung phone!

Now (in the phones melody composer),  simply type these numbers into your keypad,  the display will show something quite different but don't worry,  as long as you press the keys in the sequence shown by the software (in this example press the 2 key, then press * four times,  then press 2 again,  then press the  # key etc)  The tone should go into your phone and play for you.

3. Save the tone

When you have finished use the 'listen' menu button to play the tone, at the end of the play sequence the phone will ask you if you are satisfied, if you are then select 'yes' and give the tone a name.

If the tone doesn't sound right,  you have probably missed a key so you may wish to try entering the key sequence again.

That's it - it could not be simpler,  or cheaper to add a new ring tone to your Samsung phone (as often as you like!)
